I am so grateful that Rick Woodworth is running for Marco Island City Council.
Rick has spent years proving his dedication to our community: not simply talking about what needs to be done, but actually doing the work. Through his service on the Waterways Advisory Committee and Audit Advisory Committee, as well as his leadership with Clean Marco Waters LLC, Rick has worked tirelessly to protect and restore Marco Island’s waterways.
I have never seen anyone work harder to understand the issues facing our city. Rick thoroughly researches major proposals, asks the difficult questions, studies the financial details, and makes sure decisions are grounded in facts. His commitment to fiscal responsibility and government accountability is exactly what Marco Island needs on City Council.
Rick also brings something especially important to public service: pure intentions. He has no conflicts of interest and no personal or professional agenda to advance. He is stepping forward for one reason: to protect Marco Island as a wonderful place to live.
Rick is a resident who cares deeply about our community and wants to preserve it for everyone who calls Marco home. His knowledge, integrity, work ethic, and proven record of service make him exceptionally qualified to serve.
