Meet Rick Woodworth
Rick Woodworth has been a full-time Marco Island resident since 2017. He brings a strong record of business, financial, and civic leadership to his campaign for Marco Island City Council, including more than 30 years helping lead one of the Midwest’s largest and longest-standing property development and management firms.
Rick has also been actively involved in Marco Island’s civic life. He has served for a number of years on the Waterways Advisory Committee, including a term as chairman, and on the Audit Advisory Committee. As a founding partner of Clean Marco Waters, LLC, he has helped lead independent water-quality testing and data-driven review of issues affecting Marco’s canals, wastewater policy, and Advanced Wastewater Treatment.
Rick is running because he believes Marco Island deserves careful, transparent, resident-focused leadership. His priorities include clean water, responsible growth, proactive infrastructure planning, fiscal discipline, accountable government, and protecting an exceptional quality of life for all who call Marco Island home.

Clean Water and AWT
Implement AWT as part of a multi-faceted strategy to improve Marco’s canal water quality. Support independent testing, transparent reporting, and measurable results.
Proactive Infrastructure Management
Fiscal Discipline
Maintain roads, canals, stormwater systems, parks, and public facilities before problems become more expensive to fix.
Respect and protect taxpayer dollars. Prioritize projects based on true need, community impact and long-term value, not politics.

Require transparency, public disclosure, and clear financial reporting before major spending decisions are approved.
