It's Time to Put Marco Island Residents First

I have seen firsthand that serving Marco Island well requires sound judgment and the integrity to make decisions for the whole community, free from the influence of any particular business or special interest. That is why I support Teri Sommerfeld, Rick Woodworth and Dennis Bartolucci for City Council.
All three are retired from successful careers. They can devote their time to Marco Island, and they bring a lifetime of experience to the work. Teri led complex healthcare operations and now serves on the City’s Audit Advisory Committee. Rick brings decades of business and financial experience, as well as years of work on Marco’s Waterways Advisory Committee. Dennis is a retired CPA and former senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Together, they possess the wisdom to ask difficult questions, weigh long-term consequences, and make sound decisions designed to promote an exceptional quality of life for Marco residents.
None of the three owns a business on the island or has a conflict of interest that would compete with their duty to residents. They have no business to promote through City decisions and no hidden agendas. I trust them to use taxpayer dollars responsibly and put the people who call Marco Island home first.
Clean water, sound infrastructure, responsible growth and safe, peaceful neighborhoods are essential to our quality of life. Teri, Rick and Dennis will make those priorities their own.
I urge my neighbors to vote for Teri Sommerfeld, Rick Woodworth and Dennis Bartolucci on November 3.
